Courses of study.
Co-ordination of Islamic Colleges confers on students in the colleges affiliated to it the following degrees on their successful completion of the prescribed courses of study:

Undergraduate Degree Course in Islamic studies and Arabic language and literature.
Postgraduate Degree Course in Islamic studies and Arabic language - and literature.

The duration of the Undergraduate Degree Course shall be four years (eight semesters) and that Post Graduate Degree Course two years (four semesters).

There shall be 240 working days (40 working weeks) in an academic year including four weeks of term-end examinations.

There shall be 120 working days (20 working weeks) in a semester including two weeks of term-end examination.

There shall be six working days in a week.

There shall be eight periods on a working day.

Each period shall be of 45 minute's lengthge.
